株価大暴落

凄いことになってきた。1万ドルは割るだろう、8,000円台になるだろうとは思っていたけれど、イザなってみると、とても大変な事態らしい。実体経済への影響というのが怖い。
ただ、私でも予想できたのだから、大方の人は来るべきモノがといった感じではないだろうか。

我が家の少ない資産も激減中。ここは底値を見極めねば。。。

それにしてもドラッガーはすごい。

So more and more of the income of the top firms-whether owned by American, Germans, Dutch, or Swiss-no longer comes from fees that clients pay for service. It comes from trading for the firm's own account-in stock and bonds, in derivatives, currencies, and commodities.

But when trading for a firm's own account becomes the major activity, it ceases to be "trading" and has become "gambling". And no matter how clever the gambler, the laws of probability guarantee that he will eventually lose all he has gained, and then a good deal more.

In every single one of these trading losses, the firm's top management has claimed that it knew nothing of the gambles, and that the gambling trader violated the firm's rules.

No industry can survive, let alone prosper, unless it is paid for service rendered to others, that is, to outside clients and customers. But the customers of the financial firms that trade for their own account are other financial firms trading for their oun account. And this is a "zero-sum game" with one firm's gains being another firm's losses- and nothing left over to pay either's expenses.
ホントにゼロサムゲームだったんだよね。　この前半、最初に読んだとき、『これからはちょっと違うんじゃない？』って思った記憶がある。1999年ですよ。こんなこと言っているの。

Druckerのような真の知性とか理性に触れると、読了した『阿片王』の里見甫なんて、本当に卑小な人間だと思う。満州国に群がった全ての人びとの矮小さがやるせない。
